Lambretta LD

Postby ticce1 » 29 Mar 2010 20:53

Hi,

I' ll maybe will starting a new 'problems ahead' topic [:)] because I' m thinking to buy this LD ( complete in parts )http://www.kapaza.be/Motoren/Lambretta/23451748/Lambretta_125cc.html . Is this something? Are the parts difficult to find? This time I would like the Lambretta as original as can be [:D] .

look for a running example. it could be a difficult restoration.

Maybe a better idea, indeed. But is it not a rare/exspensive type? But maybe it is better to learn with a easier model [:)] . It just looked like a nice opportunity for to buy a rare Lambretta.

LD's are not so rare, but mechanically they are quite complicated. Try to buy a really good one. It will be a very difficult restoration compared to a series three.
